Dear Smyrna Resident:
Enclosed is our yearly revision of the comprehensive schedule by street of service provided to you by the City of Smyrna Sanitation Department for single family residential pick up. This revision is necessary due to the continued growth of the City, the type and times of refuse collection, and the need to re-route trucks. These services include garbage pick up, recycling, paper bagged leaf and grass pick up and call request only special trash pick up (trash items to large for regular garbage pick up such as mattresses, appliances, furniture, etc.) Streets and/or subdivisions names are listed alphabetically. Please look for your street or subdivision and note the days for your service, and please save this schedule for future reference. Refuse as well as recycling materials must be placed at curbside no later than 7:00 a.m. Refuse carts must be removed from curbside after the day of pick up.
Please note the following changes and or updates:
1.) All Garbage must be bagged then placed in rollout carts. Please note: there will be no large trash items picked up during a holiday week. Please read your message line on your utility bill for schedule changes.
